About Hyperyana
Hyperyana is an independent lab for ideas and small experiments. It brings together technical curiosity, philosophical reflection and the pleasure of making something useful or interesting.
Why it exists
Building a tool involves choices about what deserves attention, what counts as an improvement and who gets to decide. Hyperyana starts with those questions. They matter in everyday things: a system that measures an animal's surroundings, an automated decision, or a shared rule written in code.
The ambition is to explore what technology makes possible and how that growing ability might benefit people and other living beings. Writing gives these questions room to develop. Small projects bring them into contact with practical constraints and consequences, with room for curiosity and play along the way.
What it pays attention to
- Technology and judgement. How tools influence what we notice, what we value and the decisions we leave to machines.
- Care for other living beings. Small pet projects that ask how sensing and automation might support attentive care, and where human judgement remains essential.
- Trust and shared rules. Small onchain experiments that explore what it means to make rules visible, verifiable and executable.
How to read this site
The journal holds essays and open questions about technology, philosophy and everyday life. Some begin with a project; others follow an idea in its own right.Projects introduce the practical explorations and their current stage.
